Hi Andrea and Chris the card you posted at Port Douglas arrived today Sat Nov 8th. The closing "ever onward" made mom smile. Your blog pictures are really entertaining to us non island hopping, scuba loving, pacific rim adventuring mortals. Your grammie Wilkinson is somewhere loving the idea that some family member made it to Australia. The sights of your trip are once in a life time, but the pictures of the two of you are awesome, very heart warming. The post card you sent from Fiji arrived on Nov. 13. On the basis of your two post cards it would seem Fiji is about two weeks behind Australia, but I guess you already know that from your visit. I hope Bali has been a great finish to your trek. I was channel surfing on the radio and heard a Rasta ska dude from San Francisco who is awesome. In checking into his music it appears Michael Franti did a benifit in March for the Bali Spirit Festival to support the Bumi Sehat Clinic ( a badly needed birthing clinic). I don't know if you've heard Michael Franti and Spearfish but they are great . Hoping your winding road will slowly turn toward Portland with all the tales of the sights, sounds and tastes your have soaked up on your journey. Dad
